Helping Ziggy

Ziggy is a precious little long-haired Chihuahua puppy. At a very young age of 12 weeks, he's faced with medical problems. Ziggy started to display symptoms about a week ago with seizures. Upon examination, his vet has noted abnormalities with his heart, and further testing is required. This will take up to $600 (roughly) to do.

Ziggy's life saving foster mommy has been providing him with the best care (and has extreme levels of experience with seizures). She saved two adult females and one male from abusive owners in the San Bernardino area. The owner wanted to dump them at the shelter, which she's so loving, she prevented. Soon thereafter, each female dog had a litter of puppies; with a grand total of six baby chihuahuas!

Lucy made numerous pleas for the help from rescue organizations, and TAP stepped up to help her out. We love having Lucy on-board, as well as her large chihuahua family. We would greatly appreciate a donation of any kind to help out with the cost of Ziggy's medical testing and future care. The bill may get larger, but this is our estimate for now, so that's what I am posting.

Please contact Lori if you have any questions.

Go to our Facebook Page to see pictures of all of the puppies. If you're interested in adopting or fostering any of the TAP dogs, please send an email. For adoptions click HERE, for fosters click HERE.

Thank you!
