Valentino Update

Valentino

Valentino is nothing short of a miracle, and full of so much potential. Without the help from his rescuers, caretakers at Crown Valley Animal Care Center, and sponsors; he wouldn't have made it this far.

He still has a lengthy road ahead of him, as he's made a lot of progress physically, he needs a lot of work with training. Valentino has been showing various signs of aggression and possessive (food/toy) behavior. We need help to get him into training so we can stop it before it gets any worse. We know he can correct this behavior, these are things he's simply never been taught and it's not his fault at all.

He loves people so much, however, his temperament changes when food and toys are involved. In addition to that, he has extremely unpredictable dog aggression. He likes many dogs, but oddly enough, will try to kill a dog who is hyper as he is.

Valentino has shown behavior improvement with the food aggression and possessiveness, so we know that this can and will be corrected. Please help by sharing his story so we can raise funds for his training.

Below I've added pictures to show his progress. I hope you enjoy seeing how far he's come.

Please note that if anyone would like to meet Valentino, he absolutely LOVES visitors! Contact Lori to set up a meeting!

Bo being adorable

Bo has been hospitalized since May 3rd after falling gravely ill and soon after testing positive for Parvo. Bo is fighting for his life, and it's been a struggle every single day. He's made very little progress, but being merely 12 weeks old with a deadly virus, just being alive is progress. Mr. Bojangles expenses continue to grow as each day passes. We were not anticipating such catastrophic events taking place after saving eight dogs this past Monday. Of the eight saved, 5 were hospitalized with one of them being released yesterday. We're devastated, but commited to save these dogs lives and are fighting as hard as we can to continue to do that.

Please help by continuing to network, every dollar makes a difference!!

Evie was another rescue from Devore on May 1st. Evie is one of eight dogs rescued, and one of five who were hospitalized. Fortunately, Evie did not have Parvo. However, she had pneumonia and a terrible infection that caused her to have a very high fever (105) and extremely elevated WBC. She responded well to treatment, and is now recovering. Any help with her expenses would be greatly appreciated.
